Help removing virtumonde and other problems

Hello ive been trying to remove virtumonde but havent been succseful also there are other viruses (i dont know what they are "trojans,malware") like spysheriff, also zlob.downloader.bs, cydoor , c2.lop, smitfraud-c , and other ones that i couldnt get,but when i scan the computer with spybot it doesnt detect them as a harm butinstead shows them on the bottom of the scanner where it shows what it is scanning. would greatly appriciate the help.

Those showed during the scan are only items that Spybot would detect if present. It's the final report that matters :)


Generate an Uninstall List

* Open HijackThis
* Click on Open Misc Tools Section
* Click on Open Uninstall Manager
* Click on Save list
* Save it to your Desktop
* Post it on your next reply.

Also idk were it was detected because it only shows it on were it shows what its looking through like i said before but i guess its not affecting the computer like you said "Those showed during the scan are only items that Spybot would detect if present." i didnt know that it showed what it was looking for instead of what it was reading :) so thats good to know.

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

Please go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the programs listed above (in red).


After that:

Start hjt, do a system scan only, checkmark:

We'll update some software to non-vulnerable versions next.

Uninstall old Adobe Reader versions and get the latest one (9.1 + updates 9.1.2 and 9.1.3) here (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows) or get Foxit Reader here (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader_2/down_reader.htm). Make sure you don't install toolbar if choose Foxit Reader! You may also check free readers introduced here (http://pdfreaders.org/).


Check here (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) to see if your Flash is up-to-date (do it separately with each of your browsers). If not, uninstall vulnerable versions by following instructions here (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html). Fresh version can be obtained here (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/).


Uninstall following vulnerable Java:

When done, post a fresh hjt log.

yes everything is working good except yesterday i dont know why but the computer just froze( but since then its been good) also when i scan it with spybot now it keeps telling me i have all of these CasaleMedia, DoubleClick, FastClick, MediaPlex, RightMedia, WebTrends Live, Zedo. they area all cookies but even if i fix the problem, when i scan it again some of them are right back in there.

It's normal those cookies appear while surfing. You can reduce amount of those a lot by using hosts file. If interested, Mvps hosts file can be found here (http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm) :)
