I recently fixed my laptop thanks to the help from km2357 to allow IE to open. Unfortunately, I'm back to where I was - not being able to open IE (it opens and quickly closes). I think whatever caused this problem in the first place is back. What's weird is that Spybot is coming up clean. The only program that could find a problem last time was PC Tools Spyware Doctor. Unfortunately, I deleted all of the programs I used to repair my laptop a few weeks ago.
"System restore" is not available, so I used ERDNT. I still cannot open IE or ping the laptop or have the laptop show on My Network Places. I am unable to post a HJT log with this first post (I can't find a thumb drive right now). What do I do?
