My computer is no doubt infected, and I cleaned it as best as I could with a couple different programs, but it was still running terribly slow and had browser infestation that redirects to what I assume are malware sites.
I started following the pre-post instructions, disabled TeaTimer, but the computer crashed before I could download and run HJT.
Now Windows won't load, and when I try to start in safe mode, I see a blue stop error screen that says :
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer."
"A thread tried to release a resource it did not own"
etc.
and at the bottom:
*** STOP: 0x000000E3 (0x80558BE0, 0x86BC9218, 0x00000000, 0x00000002)
The same blue screen comes up whether I try to start Windows normally or in any of the Safe Mode options.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
