Hi!
New to this forum, and i hope this query is appropriate to post here. Anyway, seems as if i've run into some weird problem when trying to remove the Opachki.ru trojan.
SpyBot reports finding this trojan, but cant remove it, claiming that my user account does not have administrator rights. Now, im dead sure my account is administrator; actually this is the first malware SpyBot has been unable to remove. What could be the problem?
Thanks!

Hey, I just got home...no one's used the computer all day (no one's been home, and it's my private comp anyways), and I'm getting the same problem. No idea where the the damn thing came from, but it's there, and it won't go away. I'm running Windows 7
Hi ComixZone,
Spybot-S&D might tell you that you are not authorized to perform some actions, since they require Administrator rights. You can solve this problem as follows:
1. Right-click the Spybot - Search & Destroy entry in your start menu, instead of just left-clicking to start it.
2. Choose Run as administrator from the context menu.
I'm running Windows 7
Which version please.
Best regards.

Hi Tashi,
The running as administrator did fix the problem. Thank you greatly. I'm running 7 ultimate 64-bit (6.1, build 7100) - it's still an evaluation copy.
Thanks again.
