timing question

If I run Spybot's Schedule feature, the complete run now takes about 45 mins. But if I start Spybot by hand, then click Check Now, it takes only about 10 mins.

Is this expected behavior? And are the two jobs doing exactly the same things? If not, can anyone suggest how I might reduce the time taken in the scheduled check? As far as I can tell, nothing else --- ar at least, nithing else important --- is running when the scheduled check runs.

Is is possible tha what's happening is that instances of Spybot that are started via the Schedule function run under priority Idle? That would presumably explain the timing issue. And if this is correct, is there some way to change it?
