I just updated my Java JRE to version 6 update 17.
While doing so, Teatimer intercepted/stopped the file zipper.exe, located in
Program Files\Java\JRE6
asserting it was fraud.softcop.
Teatimer further wanted to delete the file, which I would not allow it to do, unless/until I confirmed that it was indeed malicious --- which I would doubt, being a part of the Java installation.
I have scanned my drive, and cannot find it anywhere --- not even as a hidden file.
1) Was this a false-positive on the part of TeaTimer? or perhaps a "PUP"?
2) Since I can't locate the file at this point, did TeaTimer remove it, despite my telling it not to? And if so, how will that impact my Java installation, which seems to be running correctly?
