Can someone please please help me, in not very good with fixing problems on the computer.
Here goes....
I got a message in my inbox on facebook from one of my friends saying something like... are you really in this video? so stupidly i opened it. Now every time I try to load a page on the web, it gets blocked and comes up with a internet safety program that i have to pay to download and tells me my files are threatened, but it isnt my internet protection thats coming up, its a hoax one. I've ran my McAfee program and nothing is detected, how can I get rid of this, I am currently using safemode to do this, as I can not load anything normally. Anyone out there please help me????
Thanks!!

Please read following thread first: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
After you've read it, create a new thread in Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) subforum by following steps from thread.

It is a virus that you just unleashed onto your comp. I know, I did the same thing. You need to go back to FB and change your password, Plus GET RID OF MCAFEE!!! They don't do spit for virus control. Avira is better. Plus run Spybot several times. I had to stay up all darn night getting this nasty virus under control. No it won't ever be off your comp, but you can keep it under serious control.

Hello HighRoller2,

No it won't ever be off your comp, but you can keep it under serious control.

If the computer is infected it should be cleaned up. ;)

Please follow the instructions in this link to produce a HJT log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) where an analyst will advise you as soon as available.

Best regards.
