Hi guys,
I have a virus (win32.antivirusPRO.A I think), so I downloded SpybotSD162 on my other desktop. I loaded it on a thumbdrive and copied it to the desktop. When I tried to run the downloaded file, the virus intercepted the attempt and popped up a windows saying I have a virus (the usual popup with this virus). Here is the actual popup warning:
Security warning: Application cannot be executed. The file spybotsd162.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?
How do I outsmart the virus in order to run spybot? Do I rename the spybot download and try to re-install?
