Hello

First time poster here. I did a search but couldn't find the answer, apologies if I have repeated what turns out to be a common problem! A beginner to these computerthings, so Janet and John answers please.

I use my laptop mainly offline for my camera images and burning my own cd's, only ever online in the Library and on a holiday in New York recently via free wireless connection in the room. so not much use in either frequency or duration, when onlune I normalkly run updates of Windows, AVG, Adaware and Spybot, (I also have a Nokia PC Suite for my mobile); I normally run all three when I get back from the Library and until now have all come back with nothing significant.

After updates yesterday, which inlcuded the above I did run Adaware and AVG with no infections, Spybot though has found two, Win32.Agent.sc netc‏ and Win32.Agent.sc netx, both it fails to fix, I have restarted PC and even reinstalled, yet the two Trojans still appear, I have also tried to delete via 'RunAlyzer' as mentioned in this link (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=50549) although they seem to delete when I re run the 'RunAlyzer' they still show, that pafe linked to inventually directed me here.

Any suggestions?

Paul

Hi,

Let's see a few logs of your system.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

It seems to be ok now, I used 'Autoruns' in safe mode to delete the relevant duplications ('Malwarebytes' flagged up the initial Trojan and I found the same named duplications in another folder), that didn't work with 'RunAlyzer' mind you but hey ho!

Scared to go back to the Library now as my laptop was withina week or two of being up to date; not sure what I would have done if the secondary Trojans that Malware didn't find had infact had different names to those that it had found

Thanks again

Paul

Ok. If you believe no further action will be needed then we can close the topic. However, if you think we still should take a look then post the requested logs :)
