i got a "Personal Antivirus" bug on the computer. this slowed WindowsXP to the point it can't even log onto the users desktop. o am working from the same computer with Windows98. i found this malware removal guide:

this guide shows my exact bug, but i am working from Windows98 with WindowsXP down; the malware remover won't work from 98.
is there anyway i can remove the malware through Windows98? i can access files on my XP through 98. is the malware a file i can delete? can i access the malware using SpybotSD?
i have lots of important Emails on the XP and i need the help ASAP!
