I turned off the PC last night and on rebooting this morning the mouse is frozen in the middle of the screen I have changed the mouse 3 times and rebooted so many times I have written lyrics to the Windows Theme. I am running XP on a shop built PC. I have rebooted in Safe several times to try and run AVG . I can use the tab key and the direction keys to a certain extent but not enough to get it to run the antivirus. I have managed to run Spybot and it tells me I have LSA and Hupigon 13 in my registry. As I cant use the muse to get to "Fix selected problem" can anyone suggest an altenative.

Frustrated Joe

Hi,

If you have usb mouse have you tried to plug it in other usb port?

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
