Recent mess started out slow and became total wreck in days. XP/SP3, IE8, got past AVG. Browser was slow to load, now shows two IE in Task Mgr with only one actually open, and redirects any search from IE8 in Google or Yahoo. I have Chrome onboard and no problems with that. (That's how I'm here.)
I have an hour-old HJT log and have downloaded ERunt.
Thanks for any help guys - local shops are full to the brim and I can't be out of service three weeks.
