When will Spybot Search & Destroy be in beta? I read somewhere that the last alpha, before beta has been completed. And it has been a while since I read that post on the forum. Anyway, once again: When can we see SDD in beta? Is it possible to download it in January? Lastly, are you guys in Spybot aiming do release Spybot 2.0 in the first quarter of 2010?

PepiMK has not made it official when the beta is going ot be released. The current alpha build is close to hitting beta. Within these three months, it is possible that version 2.0 will be available for testing to the public but there is no guarantee. Be patient.

Still no information about the release of the beta, but not too is far. He is currently in alpha 2, and the next release will be the beta.

That's no way of building A hype. ;)
I guess we'll just have to be patient. We all want it now, but the Spybot team has to finish the product, and I guess they've finished 50-65%. :sad:
But we all want it best as possible, aye? :)
More seriously: If they're in the last alpha, it's probably finished for like 90~95%
@65% S&D2 would probably still would kill most of the competition though..:laugh:

As far I've checked board, currently there're about 400 found issues in 2.0.
About 70% of issues are fixed, while 12% is still open and 18% is new or not yet checked.

the 2.0 beta will come when the creators are ready to make it available, even if it takes them a while (maybe a few more months from now) to do so. as imageek was saying, we'll have to wait longer...
