hi navino,

lets try this:

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.

The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. it may take several minutes for the fix to "run"

after rebooting a text log will open, please save the log and post it in next reply along with a new hjt log file please.

Thanks for the reply but the problem still persists. I still get these Symantec pop ups. I have tried the steps suggested and below are the reports from the same. I find the entries mentioned in the new HijackThis log file provided below.

----------------------------------------
see if you can locate these two files, both in system32 dir:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CSJSG.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DMRQZ.EXE

once you can find them go to this website:

http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html
or
http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus

and upload them both so they can be checked out.

make a note of the results, if detected as bad, trojan downloader etc go back to the system32 dir and delete them.

if you cant delete them normally then boot computer into safe mode and do it. you reach safe mode by tapping the f8 key during a computer restart, chose first option safe mode

hi navino,

that last hjt log looks alot different than the first one, i dont see any malware in the last one anyway.

give me some info about these Symantec pop ups. what does the popup say? what happens if you click on the popup?
-------------------------------------------------
...lets try ewido anti spyware, a free 20 day version.
download, install it, update, dont scan with it yet, we will do that in safe mode.

http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

once installed and updated boot your computer into safe mode.
you reach safe mode by tapping the f8 key during acomputer restart. chose the first option safe mode. launch ewido and scan with it.
you will have the option to save a report after it scans. please post that report in next reply......shelf life
