hey i have a quick question about whether or not i'm allowed to modify the installer to prevent the installation of the teatimer i did not want to continue before finding out whether or not this is ok thanks in advance.

Hi lion88,

I hope I understand you right...

you are able to choose during the normal installation whether Spybot's TeaTimer should be enabled or disabled. It's your funeral!
The TeaTimer doesn't make problems if it's disabled.
