Hi - I keep getting a pop up that says
"Windows - No Disk"
"Exception Processing Message c 0000013 parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c" etc. there are three boxes to select "cancel - try again - Quit" If I click on any of teh boxes I have to keep clicking 6 or 7 times until it goes away. in 5 seconds it comes back.

I tried to run Spybot, and AVG but they woudn't start up. I tried to run them in Safe Mode and still no go. I tried to get into "Task Manager" to see what's running but that appears to not initialize too.

I can't disable "Tea Timer" because the virus won't let me open Spybot. I did back up the registry with ERUNT.

One or more of the identified infections is a backdoor trojan.

This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and Download and Execute files

I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. thanks for the advice! I have contacted someone who is going to remove my files and load them on to an external hard drive, wipe the computer hard drive clean and then I'm going to move the files on to a new computer (after checking everything first with Antivirus software). Do you have any advice or things I should be looking for so I don't re-infect my new computer?
