View Full Version : Trouble with browser after running scan.
I was able to eliminate a virus using Spybot but now my Internet Explorer does not sign on. My Mozilla works but I need the IE for certain applications.

Do you get any error message?
Have you tried to undo the immunization of Spybot or deactivating the SDHelper to see if that's blocking somehing?

So I folloed those instructions and "unimunized" my computer and the SDHelper was already unchecked. I then restarted my computer but I still can not get access to Internet Explorer. It opens but it says, "cannot display the web page".
Firefox is still working. Do you have any other suggestions?

It appears that the virus scan removed the "detect automatic settings" check mark which is what was causing the problem.
I figured it out.
