Hello,
Now that I've got my office computer fixed (thanks you you guys), I decided I'd update spybot and try ewido at home too..
Found out I have a more annoying problem at home. If I search for "anti spyware removal" in FireFox 1.5, my browser automatically closes the first second I get the results (this doesnt happen in IE though).
I also tried to uninstall my older version of spybot, it was not in the add/remove list in the Add & Remove Programs dialog. So I tried to view the contents inside my "Spybot - Search & Destroy" folder. As soon as I clicked inside this folder, windows explorer automatically closes. I tried booting up in Safe Mode and I uninstalled Spybot while inside Safe Mode. That seemed to work. Then I restarted in Normal Mode and tried to re-install the latest version. I cant get passed the "Accept License" part; it automatically closes. The same thing happens when I try to install Ewido, automatically closes on me. And I'm not sure if it's a good idea if I install this while in Safe Mode, is it?
I'm running Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2..
Any idea on how to fix this problem?
Your help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Ryan
