Hi guys, first time here. Had a good friend of mine tell me about spybot after I got win worm 32 and he saved me!! So now I have another problem, my computer keeps restarting every half hour or so only when I am hooked up to the internet. So getting advice from google searches I decided to download hijackthis, please analyze my results.
Ok so I can not post my results, but I will tell you the problem I am having. First, it started with google searches getting redirected; then about a week ago my computer started rebooting every half hour when it is hooked up to the internet. I went to a few different places, just to make sure it wasn't my modem. So, I scan my computer every day with spybot and malwarebytes. So, I brought it to my friend who fixed it before, and he scanned it as well. He thinks it may be a hardware problem along with another person I know who works on computers. I was also told it could be a corrupt file. Someone please help me!!

Ok, this is what HiJackTHis says when I run a scan-

For Some Reason your system denied write access to the Host files. If any hijacked domains are in this file, HiJack this may not be able to fix this. So then it says if you have Windows Vista, to simply right click and run as administrator; well I can't do that. WTF is wrong with my pc??

Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER (http://www.gmer.net) here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:
Double-click .exe that you downloaded
Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
Don't check
Show All
box while scanning in progress!
When scanning is ready, click Copy.
This copies log to clipboard
Post log (if the log is long, archive it into a zip file and attach instead of posting) in your reply.
