View Full Version : WDC.EXE Keylogger or safe file by ASUS?

I have been cleaning my computer with Antivir virus scan, Spybot & MBAM after suspecting I may have been infected by a keylogger. I have this process (WDC.EXE) running in my Task Mgr. I googled it and found two very different opinions.

One group of people reckons that this is a keylogger by Watchdog and should be removed immediately while another group thinks that this is a safe file from ASUS. Before I proceed any further I thought I might hear what the experts here have to say before I delete this file from:
C:\Prog Files\ASUS\ATK Hotkey\WDC.EXE

Would also appreciate any further advise on cleaning my computer of any other threats from the HJT log which I have attached below.

Hi,

As the path says, it's ASUS related file and should be left there.
