start HJT, click the "Scan" button. check the items below, close any open windows, then click "Fixed checked"

next:
see if you can locate this .exe:

MS7a88.exe

located here:
Path:
C:\ProgramData\7a88b7f\MS7a88.exe\

you can delete the entire folder. (7a88b7f)

reboot again and scan and post a new hjt log.

I'm not smartest when it comes to computers and my stepdad helped me with the first part.. can you break it down a little better so I can figure out what you are asking me to do? Please! And thank you!

Ok no problem. you did the first part, using HJT to select that 04 line ok?

We can skip the second part for now. Lets get a download that you can use (and keep). It may delete the folder, if not we can go back to doing it manually.
Are you still having pop-up issues?


Please download Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php) to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Be sure that everything is checked, and click *Remove Selected.*

*A restart of your computer may be required to remove some items. If prompted please restart your computer to complete the fix.*

When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
Post the log in your reply.
