Webwatcher Infection (Inactive)

I was told that someone installed webwatcher on my computers. One is a netbook, which i have turned off and took the battery out of . there is no disk drive or cd drive so i was unable to do anyting. The other, this one, my desktop i did go and attempt a Format with windows 7. I do , however, have a backup drive which contains media. That is the "d:" I am not sure if it worked, or whats going on. If you reformatted the machine and installed Windows 7, then any programs previously installed will have been removed.
