I ran Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4, Hijackthis, Ad-Aware and Grisoft AVG. None of them found anything wrong and all tell my pc is running in a safe environment.
However the redirects are still in action.
What did I miss?
Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome to the forum. That Pipas.A is a Wareout infection and we need a little stronger tool to remove it:
First I want you to read about this junk:
C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
http://www.clickz.com/news/article.php/3561546
http://www.greatis.com/appdata/u/v/viewmgr.exe.htm
http://www.spywareinfo.com/newsletter/archives/2005/nov4.php#viewpoint
My suggestion is to uninstall it in Add Remove Programs. If you see any others programs you know don't belong there, uninstall them also. If there are any you are unsure of let me know and I will look.
Normally Wareout has 017 lines in the log, I see none? We may have to deal with them on a reboot?
Thanks to LonnyRJones, Baskar, Steggel and any others who helped with the fix.
Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/Fixwareout.exe
Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log in the forum please.
We will have more to do.
Thanks...pskelley
Safer Networking Forums
Thanks.
In fact that problem arose about two weeks ago and I found these four O17 lines in HJT. I removed them and Google ran again as before.
Then the same redirection problem hit my PC again yesterday, but this time the O17 lines didn't show up in HJT.
I had also noticed Viewpoint that installed itself without warning and told me after the fact with a pop-up if I recall correctly.
I'm going to follow your above suggestion and will be back with the results tomorrow or the day after.
Thanks.
Job done very easily although I am not tooexpert at this.
Noticed that dmkgj.exe (was named dmdyt.exe yesterday!) disappeared from the last line of HKLMs.
Here are the logs you requested, I hope.

Hello and thanks for that information, we may want to check your setting to see if Wareout changed them:
(2000/XP) Only: In the windows control panel. If you are using Windows XP's Category View, select the Network and Internet Connections category otherwise double click on Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually local area connection for cable and dsl, and left click on properties. Click the Networking tab. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS servers automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
That option might not be avaiable on some systems
Next Go start run type cmd and hit OK
type
ipconfig /flushdns
then hit enter, type exit hit enter
(that space between g and / is needed)
Java just updated again to jre1.5.0_07: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
Search for this file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\DMKGJ.EXE and delete it if it is there. You can use HJT to do this, use How to use the Delete on Reboot tool http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial42.html#delreb
Let's do a little cleaning:
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {fecb5d9a-30ee-4add-bdb1-5d523883dbdb} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\msacxec.dll (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: msacxec - msacxec.dll (file missing)
Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
Enable hidden files&folders..reverse the process when finished.
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html
RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
C:\Windows\Prefetch\ >>> delete the contents (NOT THE FOLDER)
Prefetch info: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Gaining-Speed-Empty-Prefetch-XP.html
If you don't have a good cleaner, use this free one with these instructions:
Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.
Restart the computer and post a last HJT log for a final look. How's the computer running?
Thanks..Phil
Fantastic my friend!
My heartbeat just jumped after I last rebooted after all clean-up. I checked the source of the Google results page I received and the 72.14.207.104 was still there in all links... but no virus anymore. All links go to the proper site, so I checked this IP with IPLookUp and discovered that the 72.14.207.104 IP belongs to the Google company.
Anyway here is the new HJT log, please tell me that is final...
I'll check tonight when coming home.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

Im Glad we could help
Since the problems are solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
If you should need to post another log for the same PC let one of us know via a PM (personal message).
