Hello all. I'm curious as to if there is a URL that leads to a plaintext file that is a copy of all the black listed domains, that is updated frequently. The reason why I would like to find this URL that has the same entries as SpybotS&D, is because I want to write a python program for *nix hosts that will protect end users from these malicious domain names by periodically checking this URL and making changes accordingly to the /etc/hosts file.

Thank you for any info. :euro:

Hm, I do not think there is a site that would have (doubtful because I'm referring to Spybot's Immunization function;contains sites in HOSTS file) all the sites listed in Spybot's HOSTS File. Not even in plain text. I came to this conclusion because I do not think SaferNetworking would just place a copy of their created HOSTS file online.

There is however one place I know that creates good a HOSTS file because it is usually updated every several weeks.

MVPS Hosts has their files in plain text:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt

Here is their main site:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

However, there much be some entries that might overlap if you use both Spybot and MVPS HOSTS file because (coincidence) that the two files have some same sites listed.
