This has popped up on my computer, and a run by Avast Pro and SpyBot with the latest updates hasn't removed it.
Can anyone help?

I have donated at least twice for SpyBot software, so I hate to buy yet another just to remove this malware.

Please see this forum's FAQ which details how to produce a HJT log and copy paste it into a new topic.

If HJT won't run please start a new topic anyway, make note of the situation and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.
