Hi, when i use my Spybot and i scan /check for problems it shows up that i have a trojan and when i press fix this program a little window pop ups and says "Fdl.exe wants to change this and this on your computer" Deny or Allow? I press Deny cause when i did a scan like 30 min ago Fdl.exe was a threat (don't remember what kind of).

This is the second time it happened, first time i scanned a other virus came up and i removed and FDL.exe window came and asked me about approval.

Then i virus scaned again and it found a trojan (this witch i am speaking of now) and i pressed Deny so now I am scanning again for a possible new virus to see if there is some connection with the FDL.exe file and the viruses. Is there anybody that know what is happening, then please telll.

Edit: I successfully scanned my computer and same trojan is there it is named : Win32: FraudPack (don't know if this is important i have Windows 7 Professional) so still same thing as before the FDL.exe ask me (more in detail what it asks): Category: System Startup user entry. Change: Value deleted. Entry: T0Y5KNQ80C. Old Data: C:\user\(my name)\AppData\Local\Temp\Fdl.exe and the buttons : Allow Change, Deny Change. What shall i do?

//Sorry if i posted in the wrong section, Moderators move the thread if you want i kinda new so didn't know where to post

Hello Sidove, :welcome:

I'm curious, did you install a dialing program on that computer?

By the way, Spybot-S&D is not an anti virus program. :) The application searches for spyware, malware, adware, trojans, hijackers and keyloggers. By your description it appears you may have a Trojan infection.

Has your anti-virus also alerted?

Best regards.

Hi Sidove,

Thank you for the information.

My ESET AntiVirus liscense has expired getting new one but at the moment don't know :O

There's a choice of free anti virus programs available like Avast (http://www.avast.com/i_kat_207.php?lang=ENG) or AntiVir (http://www.free-av.com/) and the one installed should always be kept up todate with the latest definitions. ;) Please follow the instructions in this link to produce a HJT log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) where an analyst will advise you as soon as available.

Please provide a link back to this thread. :)

Best regards.

Security vendors use their own naming conventions to identify malware. :)

You have Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus, not just the antispyware edition?

Make sure you have only one AV installed and running to avoid conflicts and loss of program efficiency.

Best regards.
