Keep getting a window that says "System Integrity Scan Wizard" and asks to clik next to 'scan and repair' or "Malicious Software Removal Wizard"

or a "warning" wantiing to down load "Drive Cleaner"

I will try the steps listed above in your 'Smitfraud...' thread. Just don't know if I can hurt anything if that is not the problem....and whether to close all windows when running smitfraud....was going to do it while ewido is downloading (i'm dial up and it takes forever)

Tried to follow the Sticky: Smit...

after re-boot into SAfe Mode #6

I cannot find Smitfraud (step 8), it is no longer on my desktop and cannot find in all programs.

If you either log in as the same user (smithfraudfix folder would be on the desktop) or put the folder in c:\ before restarting into safe mode , it will be easy to find.

Before taking above steps, the "system 32" folder (with dllcache in blue) and a blank Document folder would open on start up. Now, just the blank document folder.

Still getting this "system integrity wizard" or some such thing.
