Was this the right log?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Right logs are many but volunteers are few. If you still need help, I see Zeno search, perhaps Alcan worm and Qoologic. It will take a bit to clean this junk and I always suggest you keep the computer offline as much as possible, these infections will attract other.

1) Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

2) Move HJT from the Desktop for safety. I prefer C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe, if you need additional instructions use these: http://russelltexas.com/malware/createhjtfolder.htm

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,owmmpoy.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [keyboard] C:\\kybrdd_4.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [{AF-F7-7B-BA-ZN}] C:\windows\system32\dwdsregt.exe CORN003
O4 - Startup: Z_Start.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\pjdsrego.exe
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06) -
O16 - DPF: {D1E7CBDA-E60E-4970-A01C-37301EF7BF98} -
O18 - Filter: text/html - {DA28E0DB-229C-4003-827E-96AE15AD90FB} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\x3cqp0.dll

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

4) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\\kybrdd_4.exe <<< file

C:\windows\system32\dwdsregt.exe <<< file

C:\windows\system32\owmmpoy.exe <<< file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\pjdsrego.exe <<< file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\x3cqp0.dll <<< file

C:\Windows\Prefetch\ >>> delete the contents (NOT THE FOLDER)
Prefetch info: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Gaining-Speed-Empty-Prefetch-XP.html

5) Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\ <<< Java just updated again to jre1.5.0_07 It is important to stay current with these updates, see this:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2

Restart the computer and post a new HJT log along with any comments you think will help. We will have more to do.

Thanks...pskelley

I looked at some other posts and tried to follow the directions there out of desperation. I couldn't find some of the things you told me to check off on Hijack this, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that my blind swinging at other people's directions may have gotten rid of them already

Here's the log

Kind of like dropping the auto off at the mechanic and telling him I tinkered around under the hood and I might have fixed something, I'm not sure and I don't know what the problem is anyway?

You had some nasty infections and evidence that Qoologic was prosent. Whatever you did has caused the 020 item to appear without the files:
O20 - Winlogon Notify: DateTime - C:\WINDOWS\
O20 - Winlogon Notify: Extensions - C:\WINDOWS\
O20 - Winlogon Notify: WgaLogon - C:\WINDOWS\

I know the third one is valid, hard to tell about the other two. Perhaps a reboot will return the file names, you can give it a try.

You also are using Selective Startup now in MSConfig: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSConfig] C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\MSConfig.exe /auto
so I have no idea if I am seeing everything that is running.

About all I can do for you is tell you what I see in this new log and you can take it from there.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\{90CAF7BA-0BC5-1033-1230-040506160001}\Update.exe
Update.exe can apply to a lot of programs, this one is questionable because the CLSID number returns nothing from Google and that means a good chance of it being a problem. You can use these free scanners to find out if you wish.
http://virusscan.jotti.org/
http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = about:blank
no malware, but clutter, refers to the third option in HomePage setting in IE on the general tab. If you do set a HomePage, you can remove this line with HJT.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [rduab9ba] RUNDLL32.EXE w0020739.dll,n 001ab9b9000000030020739
Not much doubt this is not a good thing, I would remove it with HJT also.

O20 - Winlogon Notify: DateTime - C:\WINDOWS\
O20 - Winlogon Notify: Extensions - C:\WINDOWS\
as I said earlier, these may be Look2me adware, I am just not sure.
