The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Fraud.MyComGuard" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Fraud.MyComGuard claims to be an antispyware tool. When it is installed to the computer it finds a lot of harmless entries in order to frighten the user and make him buy a license to get the issue fixed.
Removal Instructions:
Autorun:
Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
Entries named "MyComGuard" and pointing to "*<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\MyComGuardup.exe".
Files:
Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\data\Enc_MCGCode.ss".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\data\Enc_MCGSiteBase.mc".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\launcher.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\MyComGuard.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\MyComGuardblk.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\MyComGuardFunc.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\MyComGuard\MyComGuardres.dll".

You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Delete the registry key "mycomguard.1" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\".
Delete the registry key "mycomguard" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\".
Delete the registry key "MyComGuard" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "MyComGuard" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\".

Please remove Browser Helpers named "MYCOMGUARD Class".
