Hi,

What do you mean by "lost programs"?

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.


Download GMER (http://www.gmer.net) here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:
Double-click .exe that you downloaded
Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
Don't check
Show All
box while scanning in progress!
When scanning is ready, click Copy.
This copies log to clipboard
Post log (if the log is long, archive it into a zip file and attach instead of posting) in your reply.

ok I lost internet access so I contacted my internet provider and they took me through a few steps got access back but lost word and blackberry desktop and a few other programs. They decided I have a virus. I have since lost internet access again! Is it possible to do this without access somehow?

Hi,

You may transfer the tools to your infected system via removable drive after securing it first:
1. Download Flash_Disinfector (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Flash_Disinfector.exe) and save it to your Desktop of your clean system.
2. After downloading, double-click on Flash_Disinfector to run it.
3. Just follow the prompts and continue until it begin scanning.
4. If asked to insert your flash drive or any removable device including USB Pen Drive and Memory Stick, please do so.
5. It will scan removable drives, wait for the scan to finish. Done.

After that transfer the tools on removable drive and from that into your system with issues.
