BLINKING HOURGLASS pleae help!!

I have a constant flashing hourglass and a slow system, i have run spybot and numerous other anti spyware programs and virus removals, but cant get rid of it!! please help me

1) this file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\IExplore.exe looks strange to me, please use one or more of these free online scans and post the results for me to view. Navigate to the file and upload it.

2) Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.

Post a new HJT log along with the information I requested and any comments you think will help.

Your Java program needs an update to jre1.5.0_07

Once you post that log, I would like you to update your ewido program and run a complete system scan. Post those scan results as soon as you have them.

i also ran ccleaner and removed 49megs worth of crap...

Thanks for checking that iexplore item, I had a strong feeling that was a problem running from the System32 folder like that. What I do not see is the ewido scan report I requested at the end of the instructions, please post that as soon as possible.

You HJT log looks great, there is one old SpySweeper line I missed, you can use HJT to remove it when you want:

Show me the ewido scan report and if it has no surprises, I'll have valuable closing information for you, and get you on your way.
