I have tried about 4 different browsers, IE, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc but not one of them will load .
i have deleted all my internet temp files, history, cache, flushed the DNS, uninstalled, and reinstalled all the browsers, reinstalled my wirless router - which is a D-link DIR-615 wirless N router form Virgin media - im on a 10MG connection.

I had the virgin media security software but thought that might have been the cause but nothng, i have removed that form my computer now, I just have AVG internet security 9.0 installed and have ran a scan, It found two trojans but said it had removed them.
I have scanned my system for malware with malwarebytes and it has said its removed anything it found.
Windows defender finds nothing,

I did have a virus, which all I know about it its called the User protection virus - whihc installs fake anti-virus software onto my computer, but Malwarebyts said its removed that , now im not 100% but im sure facebook worked before i had that on my system.

If anybody can help me please i hope somebody can, I havnt been able get on facebook for over two weeks now. If anybody requires any more information so you can help me further please just ask, as i want this matter sorting out asap.

Hello arnie2009,

I did have a virus, which all I know about it its called the User protection virus - whihc installs fake anti-virus software onto my computer, but Malwarebyts said its removed that , now im not 100% but im sure facebook worked before i had that on my system.

The removal of a malware infection can have side effects, but we don't know if that is the case here.

If you would like someone to take a look at the system please follow the instructions in this link to produce the preliminary HJT log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) where an analyst will advise you as soon as available.

Best regards. :P
