Having been infected with the above spyware I have followed the instructions posted on this site by Tashi. All seems OK (so far) but as suggested I have included the logs below for your comments/suggestions.

Thanks for returning your information and good job:bigthumb: You have a few programs in the HJT log I am not familiar with, but they all seem to check out ok.

I see you decided to ignore the advice of ewido where these items are concerned.
C:\Documents and Settings\Peter Skinner\My Documents\cmb_263540.exe -> Heuristic.Win32.Dialer : Ignored.
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{6B780C09-0EB2-4E83-8001-6272C2A2CC61}\RP255\A0031003.exe -> Heuristic.Win32.Dialer : Ignored.
C:\Program Files\RealVNC\VNC4\winvnc4.exe -> Not-A-Virus.RemoteAdmin.Win32.WinVNC.4110 : Ignored.
I will assume you know what you are doing because I can find nothing about the first two, the .exe returns nothing when Googled as well as the CLSID.
The third one may well be valid: http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/winvnc4/

Besides this, the logs appear to be clean and you should be good to go.

ewido is a great program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

Important: you do have nasties in System Restore as reported by ewido.
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
