In need of major help

Please forgive me but I am totally lost in what to do.

I have a virus on my computer that pretty much controls where I go. eg if I search for something it redirects me to somewhere else.

I am able to type to direct address in the address bar and it will work then. BUT I can NOT access spybot website for updates to get rid of this virus.

After running spybot it rewrites itself and spybot pops up and ask for permission, the deny box option isn't allowed.

My husband did put updated files in my folder and I pasted them into sbybot folder, but not sure if thats enough. ANy ideas on how to get rid of this mean monster?

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) where an analyst will advise you as soon as available.

If HJT won't run please start a new topic anyway, make note of the situation and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.

I will do that, as its getting more and more fustrating. Cant seem to locate this virus its hidden pretty darn good. lol
