HELP!! I have followed what others have done to remove but to no avail. Hijackthis shuts down as soon as its opened. msconfig shuts down as soon as its opened. S&D spots problems, says its removed, but when rerun, its still there. I used trendmicro's online scan. 2 1/2 hrs later it found prbs but couldnt fix them.

I have redirect issues, I have prbs opening AVG and running it, and overall, I have no idea what else this sucker is doing to my computer!

Please send help ASAP.

Thanks!!

Eric

Not sure if my first thread came through. I have been infected by I believe fakemsn8 among other things. I cant open avg, spybot runs and shows the problems but doesnt remove it, msconfig shuts down as soon as i open it. Same thing with hijackthis, it cant run for more than a second. I also have browser hijacking going on. All this from clicking the stupid MSN msg that popped up from a friend.(He gave up and bought a new computer).

Can you PLEASE help me fix this rodent on my machine?

Thanks!
