My browser both IE and Google Chrome keep crashing how should I fix it? plz help

i have windows vistas, i've run spybot, and also ad-aware and its still doing it. the messages says "Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed. Restart now?

Do you have an anti virus program installed? Browsers can crash for various reasons.
..and whether the computer shows signs of infection.
