Hi, new to this Forum, please be patient with me.
I was running Spybot 1.6. I now have to update my anti-virus software (to Trend 2010) and was advised to uninstall Spybot before installing the new anti-virus software.
I used the Windows uninstall from Control Panel, rather than a dedicated Spybot uninstall. Got an error message that not everything was uninstalled. My question is how to remove the remainder??
I did a search and found that these are still on my computer:
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\tools.dll
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\advcheck.dll
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\unins000.exe
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\borlndmm.dll
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\borlndmm.dll
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\sdhelper.dll
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\zipdll.dll
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\dummies\dummy.cd_clint.dll
c:\documents and settings\all users\desktop\spybotsd14.exe
Looks like one of those in an uninstall program, but I wanted to double check before I mess anything up.
