I suffered a similar experience to a poster on here whose home page was ___security.com and his probelms were the same as mine.
I scan with spybot and there has been no sign of any malware or spyware.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting your information and it does look like your were successful in removing Smitfraud. You do still have other issues that I doubt were related to Smitfraud. A little information first.
1) Microsoft AntiSpyware <<< this program will block changes we must make, turn it off until you are done.
Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click on Tools, Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck: Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck: Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Please do not download new software unless I request it until we are finished, but you will want this information:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
Enable hidden files&folders..reverse the process when finished.

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.
Restart your computer and post a new HJT log along with any comments you think will help. How is the computer running now?
Once you post that log, I want you to make sure your ewido program is updated and then run a complete system scan. Post those scan results for me to view as soon as you have them.
