This PC has been recently plagued with browser hijacking, rampant popups and slow booting.
I've followed done the following:
1 - Installed & updated SpyBot
2 - Ran Panda Active Scan Online. Here's the Log:

3 - Rebooted in safe mode, ran Spybot until it came up clean (was prompted to schedule a scan on the next reboot since a file was in use)

Hi
Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/content/view/24/2/)
to your desktop.
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less (up to five).
Click OK.
When VundoFix re-opens, Click scan for vundo, when it is finished scanning >
If no files are found or one isnt listed
Right click the list box then select add files and add
c:\windows\system32\ddayxut.dll
do the same for this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\mmcrbk.dll
Click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Wait two mimutes then turn your computer back on.
Run hijackthis place a check next to

Did you put items on Hijackthis ignorelist ? i ask becouse norton isnt showing
There is nothing on the HijackThis ignore list. Norton was removed at the request of the user. She asked that I find some other virus scanner for her that doesn't 'freak out at her'. I'm wasn't quite sure what she meant but I was ok with that decision as I myself am not a fan of Norton and I'll install a free virus scanner and malware protection for her once this is cleaned up.
I will post the file to the noted location as soon as I have access to this workstation again, which will either be later today or on Monday morning. I apologize for the delay; please do not delete the thread during the wait.

Yes I'm in IT. I'm currently a web application developer and business analyst.
I used to do tech support in college, and hence now do tech support for my family for free :P The habit of using terms like workstation and user carries over from both my old and recent work. I don't think you really needed to know this particular user is my cousin and she was out of town over the weekend so I couldn't get to her PC *smirk*
In any case, it seems the previous steps didnt help much. This PC is still plagued with popup messages and redirects, all seem to pertain to virus warnings, virus scan software and downloading free virus software.. all of which I've advised her NOT to act on.
Please let me know what I should do next. I'm certainly no expert at this in any amount anymore.

VundoFix said the c:\windows\system32\ddayxut.dll could not be deleted and that it would attempt to remove the file on restart. On restart I didn't see any VundoFix window or dialog, so I checked the c:\windows\system32\ directory and the ddayxut.dll is still there.

Run Hijackthis click >"config" then "misc tools" >"delete file on reboot"
(exact spelling counts!!! so dont browse to the files)
Copy/Paste the bolded line below into the File name box then click Open,
c:\windows\system32\ddayxut.dll
Answer yes to the prompt to reboot the PC
Once windows has restarted
Run hijackthis Scan and Place a check next to these items.

Now hit fix checked close hijackthis (dont worry about a hijackthis error)
Restart the pc again, once back make and post another log.
I used HijackThis to remove the file c:\windows\system32\ddayxut.dll on reboot.
Then I ran a HijackThis scan:

Sun Java V1.5.0_07 is Available:

Afterwards it's important to uninstall the old version's.
