Spybot stops working

When I run Spybot-S&D it runs for about 20 sec. and then it stops and a box pops up with the following message in it:

---------------------------------------
This started a few weeks ago. I don't know what it is?

Windows XP

I sent an email to Spybot,but i thought I would try this Forum to.
I really don't know what I am doing. I hope I can find my way back here???

When you try to open Spybot again, does it not open anymore then?
Do you have any other security tool installed?
