Hi
Looks like norton is updating, wait for it to finish first.
copy these instructions into a text document for later referance
Download Pocket Killbox to the desktop (version 2.0.0.648)
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.exe
Download fixwareout but dont run it yet, link below.
If you already have killbox ensure it is the latest version. ?
Start Killbox place a tick next to "end explorer shell while killing files"
lower down near where its says "system proccess" use the drop down (arrow) to select iexplore (internet explorer) and press the yellow icon to end that proccess. be sure to end all iexplore's.
Copy this whole list into the windows clipboard, all the Bolded below.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wmaqk.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ptltc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\jhoks.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hbemk.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\btjnw.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bigzx.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\afwoa.exe
Back in Killbox go > file > paste from clipboard,
Click the "Delete File" button which looks like a stop sign untill all the files are deleted,
some probaly wont exist.
Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe
Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log in the forum please.

Lonny,
All files did not exist when I ran Killbox. Everything looks great . Spybot up and running at normal speed.
Should I also delete this file?:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UserFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -u
Thank you very much! I will see you tomorrow. Have a good night (morning?).
Regards,
Andy

Hi
Those are just cookies, next time you scan have ewido backup and delete them
Any other problems or questions ?
Think Prevention: Put in place a good hosts file
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
How To Download and Extract the HOSTS file:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
Repeat that proccess about once or twice a month
To help avoid reinfection see "So how did I get infected in the first place?"

Im Glad we could help
Since the problems are solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
If you should need to post another log for the same PC let one of us know via a PM (personal message).
