I have a SERIOUS trojan problem. I have ad-aware and spybot, and run both of them, yet there are still a TON of trojans and things like that.

I downloaded Hijackthis and here's my logfile :

Hello and welcome to the forum. If you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, I will see what I can do.

These two: C:\Documents and Settings\Molly\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\0RSHG9G3\antivir_workstation_win7u_en_h[1].exe
C:\Documents and Settings\Molly\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\RSECPZLP\antivir_workstation_win7u_en_h[1].exe
seem to be valid: http://www.fbmsoftware.com/spyware-net/process/antivir_workstation_win7u_en_h_exe/3163/ I have never seen them before. If you don't know why they are there I suggest you delete them.

1) Follow these directions: http://www.atribune.org/content/view/24/2/
Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop.
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

(hold those logs until we finish)

2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

(some lines may be gone, just don't miss any)

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {4D25F926-B9FE-4682-BF72-8AB8210D6D75} - C:\Program Files\MyWaySA\SrchAsDe\1.bin\deSrcAs.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4D25F921-B9FE-4682-BF72-8AB8210D6D75} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: WTLHelper Object - {BD6CD737-34E1-4864-8697-83EC081F1989} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjg.dll
(next toolbar is not working with the missing file. Download it again once we are done if you use it)
O3 - Toolbar: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Companion\Installs\cpn\yt.dll (file missing)
O16 - DPF: {26098EA2-C95D-48EA-89B4-63C5A63BD42F} - http://www.pacimedia.com/install/pcs_0031.exe
O20 - Winlogon Notify: mljjg - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjg.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ssqpp - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssqpp.dll (file missing)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

4) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log. Include any comments you think will help and let me know how the computer is running.

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06 <<< this was just updated, it is important that you keep it current, see this:

Thank you so much!

I'm still getting a low disc space pop up on my computer, but that might be from me having to much junk on it.

Thanks for returning the information, looks like the tool killed the Vundo infection. I still see an old version of Java running, you need to read the link I provided then remove all old versions in Add Remove programs, then download the newest version. This is probably why you had the Vundo infection in the first place.

C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\ will block changes, you may have to disable it long enough to remove the next two items:
Open Windows Defender, Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Use HJT to remove this line:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://bfc.myway.com/search/de_srchlft.html

I can not view this line, if you don't know what it is, remove it:
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://bb01.mer.uk.vvhp.net/mcfly/YaBB.pl

The rest of the log looks fine, so I will give you this information now, make sure you follow the instructions to clean System Restore in case Vundo has infected those files.

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

I'm still getting a low disc space pop up on my computer, but that might be from me having to much junk on it.
I need to know what is telling you this, is it a Windows popup or what.

Let's check your disk space, do this. Click the MyComputer icon to open it, then find and RIGHT click on the Local Disk (C:) Now click on Properties. Post for me how much Used space and Free space you have. While you are there, click on Disk Cleanup, it will clean out junk and may free some space. Apply and OK your way out when finished.

Thanks...Phil
