The "attach" document is attached to this post.

I've also noticed two entries in the startup registry labeled, "asam", and another entry that I believe is located somewhere in the "Application Data" folder that starts with the letter "d". I believe there may be a "w" or "b" in the name of that entry as well, but I can't remember at this time until I am able to look again. I have left the computer off for now in fear of messing up my computer data or operating system.

The other entry name that begins with a "d" is something similar to "dhaqs" (but with a longer file name)

Hi,

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

Azureus

I'd like you to read this thread (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=282).

Please go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the programs listed above (in red).

After that:

Download GMER (http://www.gmer.net) here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:
Double-click .exe that you downloaded
Click rootkit-tab, uncheck files option and then click scan.
Don't check
Show All
box while scanning in progress!
When scanning is ready, click Copy.
This copies log to clipboard
Post log (if the log is long, archive it into a zip file and attach instead of posting) in your reply.
