IE cannot go to Microsoft windows update pages

If I try using Mozilla, it goes to a different webpage. I am desperate now. I installed Spybot Search & Destroy, it found a couple of bugs but did not find the virus that is causing the problem. I know because my anti virus Trend Micro Office Scan is reporting that my laptop is trying to connect to banned websites (which I will not post here because this site banned me last time I tried to post it).

Please help.

Then start a new topic, copy paste the DDS log into it and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available. :)
