Win32:JunkPoly[Cypr] virus

Hello all,

My memory stick is infected with the virus and I am trying to remove it. I've been searching the web on how to do that and I'm only finding reformatting the stick works. However, I don't want to do that because I have various pictures on the stick that I would like to keep. Is there any other way to remove it? I can't access the pictures because the virus infected the .exe files.

Malware can spread via usb drives by creating a autorun.inf file on the drive. How do you know all the .exe on the computer are not infected? Most AV have right click context menu to scan portable drives.
