I cannot confirm that Spybot blocks any part of the site.
Maybe you can provide additional information on where and what exactly got blocked.
Within the Internet Explorer configure Spybot S&D SD Helper to ask before blocking. This will show you a more detailed screen about what gets blocked and you can choose if you want that to be blocked.
You can also check the "Allowed & Denied" tab to see which urls have been blocked or allowed in the past.
