Spybot Changing Host file every time it's run

Hello there,

Every time spybot is run it is changing the hosts file in windows 7. First it creates a backup and then it adds whatever it is suppose to add. However what it is doing is creating symbols and text in the host file that is not commented out.

lines or following the machine name denoted by a '' symbol.

For example:

102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com source server
38.25.63.10 x.acme.com x client host

localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost

Notice the missing comments. Also later on when it appends it is also missing the comments

Any chance anyone else is getting this as well? I would like to clean this up or maybe change a setting some place?????

Hmmm... Nothing yet on this. Either no one has it or no one cares about it. I would like to know either way. Kind of surprised that in 24 hours and like 50 views there is not one reply. I do appreciate that if you have nothing worthwhile to offer, why post. So thanks for that. Any and all information is appreciated as well.
