Problems with running CHECK PROBLEMS button

I am having problems with running the check for problems button. Even after I install everything and search for updates, i receive a message that i cannot run check for problems option because i need to installl the detection updates.
I scaned the comp with hikack and this is the log

Hello,

Please have a look if you have installed everything.
To see which version number and/or updates of Spybot - Search & Destroy you are using please run Spybot-S&D and choose "Help" --> "About" in the menu bar.
There you can see which version you have and which updates are installed.
It should be version 1.4 and the updates from the 2006/07/07.

Yesterday the update server was not available for quite some time due to maintenance.
Please try again now.

I assume from your other posts you were able to Update SpyBot correct ?

Before we can start that needs to be corrected
Your running Hijackthis from a temp and/Or it still hasnt been unzipped, neither is a good idea.
Create a new folder, for instance C:\AntiSpyware
Download the exe from here to that new folder.

This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong
Make and post a new log
