Hello,

On Sunday I made the grave error of downloading Limewire, and now my computer has a bunch of spyware/trojans and maybe even more. I've run Adaware, Spyboy S&D, McAfee, Housecall, Pandasearch (or whatever it is called), Bitdefender, CCleaner, CWShredder, Qoolfix... I can't remember them all. Suffice it to say I've run several programs designed to remove the problem-programs I have, but they can't remove them. I've posted for help at other forums but taking a long time to respond they are so I thought I might as well explore my options.

I know its infected with CmdService, 180Solutions (I can't remember exactly - I'm at work), and I know it was infected with SurfSideKick, and it could possibly be infected with several more. All of my scanning programs fail to remove the programs - sometimes it will tell me that it has been removed but when I scan again the same programs show up.

I'm attaching some logs of the programs I've used. I've just noticed that they are too big to attach.... I guess I'll link them to you.

Thanks for reading this. I've been looking through the archives to see how I can remove some malware from my computer, but I've noticed that all the results that come from my search are those that came from specific situations and the like. I don't like wasting volunteers' time so I did earnestly check to see if I could solve the problem myself. I was afraid I'd mess up my computer if I took advice that would work for somebody else's problems.

Thank you so much for your help!

Here are the logs:

If the logs don't work, email me at Removed so I can copy and paste them. I just don't want to have 4 large posts. Thanks again!

I've posted for help at other forums but taking a long time to respond they are so I thought I might as well explore my options.

One reason assistance slows down for everyone is multi forum posters.

Many of our volunteers help at several forums and thus the volunteer pool gets diluted if they are replying to the same poster at more than one site.

I am sure many who do not follow up post at other sites and drop their topic/s elsewhere once someone has responded.

That is not fair and contributes to volunteer burn out, it takes time to analyse logs and compose a response.

If a person is in that much of a hurry they might consider taking the computer to a shop to be cleaned up.

See:
BEFORE you post and who will advise you. Preliminary Steps (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Please post links to the topics you have started at the other forums so that we can make sure no one has already responded or inform them that you are seeking advice here.

That does not guarantee immediate assistance however.

See:
If you have waited four days for advice post here. (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=4836#post4836)

Regards. :)
