Immunization Incomplete Firefox ZoneAlarm

I have read through everything I can find here and on the internet about this problem and have not been able to fix it.

Firefox cookies, images, installations, and popup immunizations not completing.

Spybot - 1.6.2.46
ZoneAlarm Extreme Security - 8.0.400.008
Firefox - 3.6.3
First noticed problem with Firefox - 3.5.9 so I updated to 3.6.3 when I saw that others had pbms with 3.5 but problem persists.

I've ran SB in safemode with admin permissions. I've run it with ZoneAlarm turned off. I've turned off site exceptions in FF tools > options > settings.

What else can I do?

Hello,

When you say you ran Spybot with admin rights, does that mean you have rightclicked it and choose "run as administrator"?
Did you close the browser during immunization?
Did you try to undo the immunization and then immunize again?
Have you also used the "Check again" function from the menu bar above?
If that does not help please also try to click a second time on the immunization tab.
Sometimes all items get immunized by the second run.

If that does not help please also try to click a second time on the immunization tab. Sometimes all items get immunized by the second run.
Did this whole series several times. It just kept skipping the 4 categories listed. I even did a regular uninstall/reinstall of FF and that didn't work either.

Ultimately what did work is that I:

1. made a backup of FF profile,
2. used Revo Uninstaller to do a clean uninstall of FF,
3. rebooted computer,
4. ran Spybot again without FF on the computer,
5. installed a fresh copy of the latest FF,
6. transferred back old FF profile,
7. rebooted computer,
8. then ran Spybot again.

This time SB found everything.
